IMS I-100 & I-200: Fundamentals, Essential Systems & Oversight Functions

Course Overview

This Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) bundle includes both the IMS I-100 & I-200 Content Course and the separate RPL Assessment Course. It is designed for learners who’ve already completed the IMS I-100 & I-200 training previously and now want to earn a university-accredited certificate from Nelson Mandela University (NMU).

The content course, delivered online over 30 days, provides full access to the updated Vulcan combined IMS I-100 and I-200 material. It allows you to refresh your knowledge and review key concepts before completing the assessment module, where you’ll attempt the quizzes and a final evaluation to validate your prior learning and attain your certificate.

The course is run from the start of each calendar month as a ‘cohort’ of students.  In order to join the ‘cohort’ you will need click the ‘Enquire Now’ button at least two weeks before the beginning of the next month, so we can be notified of your interest. On notification we will contact you and ask you to complete a registration form for Nelson Mandela University and submit a copy of your ID. You will also be invoiced at this stage. Once the payment and registration are complete, you are loaded into the ‘cohort’ for the coming month and off you go! A university certificate for the Incident Management System, a first in Africa.

Prerequisites

This RPL course is only available to learners who have already successfully completed the IMS I-100 and I-200 training with Vulcan or another service provider, including FEMA.
